Changing the volume of speakers on a Mac is easy. All you have to do is use the volume keys on your keyboard. In such cases where the audio device is supported by macOS, it is perhaps easier and faster to use these volume keys on the keyboard rather than using Monster Menu's "Volume" feature. Unfortunately, not all speakers are supported by macOS. For example, the builtin speakers of many external monitors are usually not supported by macOS. In these cases, adjusting the volume of a monitor's speakers using its hardware controls can be tedious and time consuming. Monster Menu lets you easily adjust the volume of an external monitor's speakers. However, this requires our Helper utility (same as the one used for brightness control). Monster Menu will automatically detect unsupported speakers and take you to the web page from where our Helper utility can be downloaded and installed. Once successfully installed, you can easily adjust the volume of your external monitor's speakers through Monster Menu's "Volume" menu by simply selecting one of the values from 0 to 16.
