Is it safe to delete “Cookies & Local Storage” in Browser Data?

Cookies & Local Storage contain data saved by the various websites you visit, in order to remember some of the user credentials and activities on those websites from that specific computer to make the user’s future visits a seamless experience. While this can grow in to a considerable amount of data over time, the user has to take an informed decision on whether to clean up such data.
